November 25, 2022 Hello , Wishing you a bounty of blessings for which to give thanks! Your support of me and my writing is definitely one of the blessings I'm counting.
I expected to be back in the routine of writing you each week when I returned from my holiday in Greece in mid-October. Life has a way of turning our expectations upside
down. My dad when into the hospital in October, then home on hospice and died November 4th. You may remember I shared about his 90th birthday in August. Harold E. Cronk lived a long and very full life, he died peacefully at home in his own bed surrounded by family. But we are never ready to let our loved ones go.

Next week I'll recap one of the highlights of my trip to Greece, Delphi,
perched on the slopes of Mt. Parnassos overlooking the Gulf of Corinth, the site of the oracle of Apollo, god of the sun.
Heads of state journeyed from throughout the known world seeking wisdom from the oracle concerning matters of politics and war. Ordinary people asked advice on matters of family, business and love. I had the good fortune of touring the site with an amazing guide Penny Kolomvotsou, as wise as any oracle, her passion for the significance of Delphi both in ancient times and today moved me in a powerful way. I'll have
more on that in next week's newsletter.
